Jeana Diaz
Language Arts & ReadingJeana Diaz has been teaching since 2004 and began her journey at the Academic Village Middle School in Fall 2015. Mrs. Diaz began her teaching career as an elementary school teacher in Miami-Dade County. Currently, Ms. Diaz is the 6th grade Reading and Critical Thinking Skills Teacher. Besides enjoying her experience at charter, Mrs. Diaz loves to spend time with her husband and two girls. Mrs. Diaz holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Master's Degree in Reading from Barry University.

Lauren Chiavari
MathLauren Chiavari started her journey in education in 2008 and joined our sister elementary campus-FSU-in 2016. In 2020, we welcomed Mrs. Chiavari to our Academic Village Campus as our 6th grade math teacher. Mrs. Chiavari graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 2008 with her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. When she's not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys practicing yoga, doing outdoor activities, and traveling.

Social StudiesI am a proud mom of two boys and two fur girls. I graduated from Florida Atlantic University. I have been teaching for 20 years, with 17 of those years at Pembroke Pines Charter School. I absolutely love teaching, spending time with my family, going on vacations, and trying new things.

Giselle Urizarri
ScienceGiselle Urizarri has been teaching since 2004 and began her career teaching elementary students in Broward County. She began her journey at Charter in Fall 2017. Currently, Mrs. Urizarri is the 6th grade Science teacher. For several years, Mrs. Urizarri also served as the Yearbook Sponsor, working diligently with her students throughout the year to ensure our school memories are preserved. Mrs. Urizarri's biggest accomplishment is being a mom to her two children, Mia & Max. Mrs. Urizarri holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Master's in Reading from Barry University.
