Morning announcements for Thursday, October 23, 2014

  • Yearbooks: For the month of October the Yearbook Staff will be offering a special Halloween Sale.  Any student wearing orange and black but still complying with the school uniform policy will receive $5 off their yearbook. Bring your cash or check of $75 to room C117.
  • Lunch at the Library: The next Lunch at the Library book discussion is here!  If you liked Hunger Games and Divergent, then you’re going to love The 5th Wave!  The 5th Wave is set in the future of a world where you can trust no one and there’s no safe place to hide.  If you’d like to read The 5th Wave and join in the book luncheon please see Ms. Oltmans or Ms. Alberto to check out the book.
  • Drama department: Have piles and piles of clothes at home that you don’t wear anymore? By bringing in clothes to Mrs. Kidd’s room, M115, you can help support communities in need in Haiti while donating to our drama department. The clothes can be in any condition. All donations are appreciated.
  • Yearbook: This year the Yearbook is focusing on giving back. We will be donating a dollar to charity for every yearbook sold and we will have a stand during A and B lunches with a Wheel of Kindness where all proceeds from the wheel will be donated to a different charity each month. On top of this, any student to donate a dollar for the wheel will automatically be placed in a raffle to win a FREE YEARBOOK. And remember the last day to buy a yearbook is December 4th.
  • Homecoming Nominees: And now it’s time to announce the 2014-2015 Homecoming Court:
