  • Juniors: Take advantage and sign up for a FREE intensive SAT class to boost math and writing scores.  Ray Dass’ team will be here this Thursday, April 3rd from 10:30 AM – 2:15 PM on the HSSD. Registration ends Wednesday, April 2nd. Don’t miss out.
  • Sophomores: There will be a mandatory meeting for all Class of 2016 candidates tomorrow after school in U231.  This is also the deadline for applications.  Please see Mrs. Torres with any questions.
  • Lunch at the Library: The book discussion for Fault in Our Stars by John Green is coming up on Tuesday, April 8th!  If you would like to join the book discussion there are a couple books left!  Please see Ms. Oltmans or Ms. Alberto if you would like to check out the book.
  • Gay Straight Alliance: There is meeting today after school in the library teen room.  New members are always welcome!
  • First Priority: There will be a club meeting this Wednesday, April 2nd with a guest speaker.  Pizza and drinks will be provided.  Come out to U124 for some great food and fellowship!
  • Grease: Tickets for the upcoming performance of Grease are on sale during A and B lunches.  The tickets are $5 each and the show dates are April 10th and April 11th.
  • Attention Freshmen: This is a reminder that all applications for class officer positions are due this Wednesday, April 2nd by 2:15 PM in U225. There will be a mandatory meeting for all class of 2017 class officer candidates this Friday, April 4th at 2:05 PM in U225. Please see Mrs. Hyacinth in U225 with any questions.
  • JAG.DOT Club: The PPCHS JAG.DOT Club (Jaguar Doctors of Tomorrow) is proud to announce the first ever PPCHS Stand-Up Comedy Night, Laughter is the Best Medicine. Auditions for student (and teacher) acts will take place after school in room M115 on April Fools’ Day (Tuesday, April 1st).
  • Track: At the Broward County Championship Track and Field on Saturday, Andrew Iglesias led Pines Charter with his second consecutive County Championship in the 3200m run with a school record time of 9:37.  Daniel Penaranda followed in fourth with a personal best at 9:59. In the 1600m Andrew Iglesias and Carlos Penaranda finished 1-2; Andrew set a new school record with a 4:20.
