Tonight at 7:30 pm, the Jags basketball team travels to Sagemont high school in Weston to play the Lions. After a blowout win against University School, the Jags are certainly expecting a tough game against a strong Sagemont squad.

Senior Wade Meade said, “I’ve had this game circled on my calendar for a while. They are supposed to be a good team and I know we’re ready for the challenge.”

This will be the first time PPCHS has ever gone head-to-head against this private school and despite it being just an exhibition match, tensions is still rising. The players see this game as a “measuring stick” to see where they are at and what they must adjust.

The talent on the team is unlimited and the varsity team is as confident as ever. Seniors are determined to be team leaders and underclassmen are ready to follow their lead. Come out and support tonight! Go Jags!!!
