Stadium Open for Walkers:

The stadium will be open for walkers M-F from 6-7 PM and Saturdays 9 AM – 12 noon starting Monday, October 14 through Saturday November 2.

Starting November 4 (Daylight savings time ends) through March 9,2014 the stadium will be open for walkers 6-7 AM Monday through Friday and Saturdays 9 AM – 12 noon.

Winter Sports Tryouts

All student athletes must have the  1) Pre -Participation Physical Evaluation Form, 2) Consent and Release Liability Form, and 3) the Concussion and Heat Related Illness Form, 4) and a copy of their insurance card completed and turned into their coach before being allowed to participate in any tryout.  The forms can be downloaded above in the “Important Forms to Download” section.

Community Service Opportunities

Pembroke Pines Charter High School can provide Community Service Opportunities to students that can be done on campus, enhance the beauty of the campus, reduce maintenance expenses, provide a foundation for pride and improve student body morale.

Sports / Activities @ PPCH Gymnasium:

Volleyball Practice & Games – Basketball Practice & Games

  1. Gym Set-up (Clock, Tables,  Benches, Bleachers, Nets, etc)
  2. Scorekeeper
  3. Timer
  4. Line judges
  5. Cleaning floor before, during and after (dust mop, wet spots, etc.)
  6. Cleaning gymnasium bleachers after event (trash, sweep, etc.)
  7. Gym Breakdown – put away equipment

On Campus – Outside:

Tennis Court / Basketball Court Areas:

  1. Trash / debris pick –up
  2. Re-hang wind screens

Track / Parking Lot Areas:

  1. Trash / debris pick –up before, during and after activities
  2. Clean & organize Football / Track Trailer
  3. Field set-up for Soccer, Flag Football, Lacrosse

Breezeway / Senior Eating Area / Courtyard

Off Campus:

Many of the same opportunities are offered when PPCHS has games or activities using the Flanagan High School Gymnasium, Flanagan High School Football Stadium, and Silver Lakes South Softball Complex.

IT’S REGISTRATION TIME!
It is time for college-bound student-athletes to register with the NCAA Eligibility Center.

Who Should Register?
Any current sophomore, junior or senior who wishes to participate in intercollegiate athletics at an NCAA Division I or II college or university should register.

How Does Registration Work?
Registrants may access the site at www.eligibilitycenter.org. From the home page, click on “Enter Here” for NCAA college-bound student-athletes, then on the “New Account” link in the upper right corner. From there, they simply follow the prompts.

The registration website is www.eligibilitycenter.org. The NCAA Eligibility Center will evaluate a student’s academic credentials once the following information has been received, and
the student has had his/her status requested by an NCAA member institution:

 Completed online registration;
 Fee payment; (if you used a fee waiver for SAT/ACT see Mrs. Thomas for payment information)
 SAT and/or ACT test score on file from the respective testing agency; and
 Transcript(s) from all schools or programs attended.
